I read an article in a newspaper which was about a local cartoonist and his artworks. He did commented about the usage of software in creating artwork...He said, digital artworks are kinda fake. Interesting view from someone that so veteran in his profession. What so fake in it anyway? Art is art in what form they are. They also need the skills, time, creativity and efforts to create. Perhaps the view is mainly about the originality or the paperless thingies.

Some people even called themselves 'Traditional Artists' just to show how original and exotic their works are. Lots of the digital artists started on traditional and then further more their skills in digital, I think there aren't any difference between both digital and traditional. For me, I do prefer traditional works but in term of practicability I chose digital. Knowledge and skills in digital art are big bonus for artists nowadays. We need to open up and change.
